1. lubrication and maintenance
2. rust and corrosion prevention
3. cleaning rust powder on the surface of rope
4. softening sludge on the surface of rope
1. liquid state, low viscosity
2. good rust prevention and relubrication functions
3. good ability to remove water film from metal's surface, naturally forming an oil film on the dehydrated metal surface to protect the steel wire rope
4. good adaptability to other metal's surface besides steel
Press an A4 sheet of paper against the steel wire rope and record the inspection date and the number of elevator runs. Generally, the inspection cycle is 250,000 elevator runs. If the oil stains left on the A4 paper are noticeably lighter in color, it indicates that the oil content of the steel wire rope is too low. If red rust appears on the surface of the steel wire rope, maintenance work must be carried out immediately.
Consider using elevator steel wire rope maintenance oil if the following occurs:
1. Rust on the surface of the steel wire rope
2. Oil sludge on the surface of the steel wire rope
3. A friction noise can be heard when the steel wire rope is in operation.
1. Before applying oil, conduct a high-speed emergency stop test.
2. Set the elevator to maintenance mode and apply oil to the surface of the wire rope using a brush. It is recommended to apply oil to the traction sheave or guide sheave, as this makes it easier for the maintenance oil to penetrate into the wire rope.
3. After applying oil, conduct a high-speed emergency stop test to ensure that the wire rope and traction sheave do not slip.
